Derek Sharon, known as D. Sharon Design, was born and raised in Kansas, United States. An aviation machinist by trade and a proud father of three outstanding kids, Derek has a deep passion for exploring nature, archery hunting, foraging, history, and music. He often finds inspiration in the natural world's beauty. Growing up in a family of avid outdoorsmen, knives have always been a part of his life. His increased involvement in the knife community—through modding knives and sharing ideas—naturally led him to design. Derek views this as a fulfilling creative outlet and is grateful for the opportunity to do something he truly enjoys.
