About Designer
Scott Stills of Edgy Bladeworks is a custom knife maker from Asheville, North Carolina. He's a part time maker and is working towards making it his full-time job. He's been a collector for around 8 years and started making knives about 4 years ago. Like most makers, he started with fixed blades but it was always his goal to make folding knives and it wasn't long before he made that happen. Scott is obsessed with knifemaking and believes that it is what he was meant to do. He named his knife company Edgy Bladeworks because he has darker sense of humor and appreciates many different forms of art that could be considered more "edgy". Knifemaking is his passion and he looks forward to seeing how far he can take his career.
About Design
Named after a psychedelic compound found in over 200 species of fungi, the Cybin is a fun and fidgety EDC option with a funky blade shape. It was originally a fixed blade design that was brought to life 2 years ago by Scott from Edgy Bladeworks. The Frag pattern handle gives the knife an aggressive look while being very comfortable in hand.

The Damascus steel we use is a premium composite of 9Cr and 440C stainless steels, distinguishing it from lower-quality options. This is genuine, layered stainless Damascus—not simply etched or patterned imitations seen in cheaper knives. Unlike traditional high-carbon Damascus, which is prone to rust, this stainless Damascus combines exceptional durability with corrosion resistance, making it ideal for lasting use. Comparable to high-end stainless Damascus like Damasteel, our steel surpasses carbon-based Damascus commonly used in brands like Kershaw in both quality and performance.
