About Design

The rock ptarmigan is compact, tough, and built to survive harsh arctic‑tundra conditions, and this resilient bird became Jared Price’s inspiration for the folder.
Rejecting a single‑purpose design, Jared wanted a knife that transitions fluidly between everyday pocket carry, workplace tasks, hiking and camping. Just like its namesake, it delivers rugged reliability as your dependable companion, whether you are in the city or out on the trail.

Key Features

Balanced 3.12‑inch Everyday EDC Profile

Measuring in with a 3.12‑inch blade and 7.2‑inch overall length at a svelte 3.83 oz, the 2055 delivers an ideal equilibrium between solid cutting performance and comfortable, pocket‑friendly everyday carry.

Snappy, Responsive Flipper Deployment

The refined flipper mechanism enables rapid, intuitive one‑hand opening. Smooth, consistent action makes it a joy to deploy for day‑to‑day use.

Curated Premium Material Combinations

Beneath the surface, a titanium foundation pairs with select high‑grade finishes including Timascus, crystallized titanium, and carbon fiber. Each variant carries its own unique, elevated character.

Capable Versatile Drop‑Point Blade

This generously proportioned drop‑point blade strikes a thoughtful balance between slicing prowess and precise tip control. It confidently handles the full spectrum of everyday cutting chores.
